Each box contains a pair of hinges that are not identical; each hinge has a specific position. The hydraulic hinge should be installed as the bottom hinge with the adjustment screws facing upward. The other hinge must be placed in the top position. Choose the appropriate packers based on the thickness of the glass. Do not make any adjustments to the hydraulic hinge before installing it on the door, as it is intentionally loose to facilitate installation. First, secure the hinges to the door. Next, place the packers under the door, center the door in the opening, and fix the hinges to the sidelight or jamb. Once everything is securely in place, open the door and adjust the tension to achieve the correct closing force.
